About
Baltimore County Sailing Center Summer Camps offer Chesapeake Experience, Fishing Camp, Sailing Camp, and Racing Teams, along with junior sailing, learn-to-sail camps, and summer-long racing programs. Campers take part in activities such as kayaking, windsurfing, fishing, outdoor education, Opti Learn to Race, and 420 Race Teams. The program also runs scholastic sailing, adult learn-to-sail, one-design programs, and LAUNCH outreach programs.

• Schedule: Summer season starts June 22, with Chesapeake Experience and Fishing Camp sessions scheduled across late June, July, and early August, Sailing Camp sessions running from late June through early August, and Racing Teams operating from June 22 to August 7
Baltimore County Sailing Center Summer Camps operate within a nonprofit community sailing center that specializes in summer camp programs, junior sailing, and racing. The center runs partnership programs that give participants a full Chesapeake Bay experience and follows a policy of membership by inclusion with no dues or membership commitment required from participants. The program offers a complementary camp bus with three routes: City Route – Red, Meadowood Direct – Yellow, and Towson – Blue. The organization is a 501(c)3 community sailing organization, a member club of US Sailing, and a member of the Chesapeake Bay Yacht Racing Association. BCSC has a seasonal staff of 12–15 U.S. Sailing Certified Instructors and is driven largely by volunteers dedicated to bringing people of all ages and abilities onto the water and inspiring a life-long passion for sailing. Individuals, families, and groups participate in BCSC programs, use its facilities, and volunteer to support the organization.
