Fort Ritchie Community Center Youth Programs include activities such as Sports Saturdays, a February Fitness Challenge, an Indoor Yard Sale, a Teen Leadership Program, Kids Club, Homeschool Club, a Fun Run/Walk at the Fort, chair massages, group fitness classes, and Zumba Fitness. Sports Saturdays are for children who are brand new to a sport or looking to sharpen their skills, with an emphasis that fun comes first and fundamentals follow, and they focus on learning the basics, building confidence, and staying active while spending time with friends. Parents are welcome to stay and participate or drop off their children for Homeschool Club.

• Ages: 6–15 years old
• Schedule: Kids Club meets Tuesdays from 6–7:30 pm for ages 6–13, Homeschool Club meets Wednesdays from 10–11:30 am for ages 6–15, Sports Saturdays run from 9–10:30 am for ages 6–13, and chair massages are offered from 10 am–4 pm on the last Wednesday of the month
• Price: Sports Saturdays cost $5 per session, and chair massages are pay-by-the-minute for 10, 15, or 20 minutes

The mission of Fort Ritchie Community Center is to provide the best health, recreational, and educational experiences that help improve the quality of life in its rural community. The Homeschool Club is designed to foster connections, encourage physical activity, and inspire creativity through interactive experiences with fellow homeschoolers, and food pantry items are available from Tabitha's Table on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month with food items delivered by 11 am. The center’s hours of operation are Monday–Thursday from 5:30 am–8:30 pm, Friday from 5:30 am–6:00 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am–2:00 pm, and Sunday from 12:00 pm–3:00 pm.

The leadership team includes Executive Director Buck Browning, Director of Operations Samantha Phillips, Director of Wellness Brenda Walker, Event Coordinator Beverly Coyle, and Program Director Hannah Spinks, along with board officers and members John Montgomery (President), Jim Kirkpatrick (Vice President), Andrew Sargent (Secretary), Terry Gladhill (Treasurer), Pat Hunt, Paul Sanders, Sally Stanley, Brandi Weigle (Prior President), and Michael Wight. Brenda Walker is a Certified Personal Trainer. Buck Browning was named the 2018 Non-profit Leader of the Year by the Community Foundation of Washington County, MD. Beverly Coyle has been an integral part of the Fort Ritchie Community Center since it opened in 2008.
