Fort Ritchie Community Center Youth Programs include Rural Youth Sports Camps, group fitness classes, Zumba Fitness, a Personalized Pilates Series, the FRCC America’s 250 Push-Up Challenge, a Teen Summit, and a Summer Camp. The Rural Youth Sports Camps are evening camps that allow young athletes and active kids to learn fundamentals, develop skills, stay active during the off-season, and build confidence in a fun, supportive environment.

• Schedule: Personalized Pilates Series runs September 14–October 8, with sessions on Mondays and Thursdays at 6 PM

The Rural Youth Sports Camps are designed for youth ages 6–13. The Personalized Pilates Series is one of several wellness-focused offerings that run on specific dates and times.

The Fort Ritchie Community Center’s mission is to provide the best health, recreational, and educational experiences that help improve the quality of life in its rural community. The leadership team includes Executive Director Buck Browning, Director of Operations Samantha Phillips, Director of Wellness Brenda Walker, Program Director Hannah Spinks, and Event Coordinator Beverly Coyle, along with a board that includes President Jim Kirkpatrick and other officers and members. Brenda Walker is a Certified Personal Trainer. Beverly Coyle has been an integral part of the Fort Ritchie Community Center since it opened in 2008. Buck Browning was named the 2018 Non-profit Leader of the Year by the Community Foundation of Washington County, MD.

The Community Center participates in Go For Bold, a community-wide initiative aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles for residents of Washington County, with a goal of losing 1 million community pounds by 2030. A Food Pantry with perishable and non-perishable items from Tabitha's Table is available for Maryland residents on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month until items have been given away.
