About the provider
Lab Rascals started as camps and clubs and is now a full PK–5 curriculum. The site says it has reached 20,000+ students since 2019 and is in nearly 50 schools across DC, Chicago, Detroit, and Maryland. It is led by Tondalaya Takapu, the founder, who is a retired U.S. Air Force veteran and homeschool educator. The program is NGSS and ISTE aligned and is trusted by DC Public Schools, Chicago Public Schools, Detroit, and Prince George's County. It is also an approved vendor with Los Angeles Unified School District.
