Georgetown Hill Early School - Greenwood Campus offers programs for infants through Transitional Kindergartners using the play-based P.L.A.N. curriculum. The program uses evidence-based approaches to early childhood education and endorses a whole-child approach to teaching and learning through the PLAN® curriculum. Greenwood families can choose an optional hot lunch program provided by Good Food Company, and the school partners with Novick Childcare Solutions for early childhood nutrition.

Georgetown Hill Early School - Greenwood Campus has been nurturing children, families, and educators in Maryland since 1980. Programs offered at Greenwood include Infant, Toddler, Twos, Threes, Pre-K, Transitional K, and a Bilingual Lunch Program. The Greenwood campus includes 10 spacious classrooms designed to support play and learning, along with a large indoor play space and an outdoor playground.

The Campus Director of the Greenwood campus is Joseph S. Wright III, an early childhood education professional with over 20 years of experience as a teacher, center director, and regional manager. The mission of Georgetown Hill Early School is to deliver an unsurpassed early childhood experience by creating welcoming environments, adapting to families’ evolving needs, and fostering a team of dedicated teachers. Georgetown Hill’s Greenwood campus serves families from a variety of federal agencies in the Hyattsville area, in addition to the community at large. Based in Bowie, Maryland, Joseph has also served on city council committees for the past eight years, focusing on community development, education, and youth programs.
