YMCA of Frederick County Summer Camps include Discovery Day Camps for school aged youth, Adventure & Specialty Camps for budding athletes, artists, and explorers, and Teen Leadership Programs that build life and career-ready skills. Campers take part in swimming, arts, STEM projects, leadership activities, group activities, games, and traditions like a cabin song. Campers are prohibited from using electronics during Before & After care and camp hours, and families are asked not to send valuables or items such as Pokémon cards, as the YMCA is not liable for lost, damaged, or stolen items.
• Schedule: Most camp locations include free morning and/or afternoon extended hours from 7am–9am and 4pm–6pm.
• Price: On average, Y members save $40–60 per week, depending on the camp, with the member camp rate.
