Salem Lutheran Children's Center

Salem Lutheran Children's Center offers preschool and school-age programs that include three- and four-year-old preschool classes, all-day preschool/daycare for children ages 3–5, and programs for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. The program includes options for children to attend between 2 and 5 days per week.

Salem Lutheran Children's Center has been serving the Jarrettsville area and surrounding communities for over thirty years with quality day care and Maryland State Department of Education approved three- and four-year-old preschool programs. The program’s stated goal is to provide a safe learning environment that is stimulating, fun, hands-on, and encouraging. It strives to inspire a life-long love of learning, create a trusting environment where children feel safe to explore, make mistakes, question, and create, and to develop moral reasoning in children as part of their spiritual development.

Salem Lutheran Children's Center is an outreach ministry of Salem Lutheran Church and is licensed and approved by the Maryland State Department of Education as a non-profit preschool. The program states that the quality of learning increases when preschools work together with families and communities, and that regular communication with parents is essential to benefit the growth of the child.
