About
Potomac Valley Youth Association Sports Programs offers activities that include Basketball, Cross Country, Field Hockey, Golf, Soccer, Futsal, Swimming, Track & Field, Cheer, Ultimate Frisbee, and Softball. The program also offers a U4 and U6 Youth Academy, a Soccer Academy, a Track & Field Program, and a Swim Program. Potomac Valley Youth Association (PVYA) was founded in 1979. PVYA sponsors a variety of sports programs for the youth of the community. The stated purpose of the sports is to provide an opportunity for children to learn the fundamentals of their respective sports and, under competent leadership, to enjoy participation and competition in organized leagues. PVYA notes credentials and awards that include 2021 BHS Girls State Soccer Finalist, 2021 Brunswick Girls Soccer Team, 2022 BHS State Soccer Champs, Back to Back BHS Boys State Championship Team, MD State XC Champions, 2021 BHS Boys XC Championship Team, the PYVA $1000 High School Senior Scholarship, and the Jon Henry $1000 Scholarship Awardee 2020.
