Camp Riverview offers hands-on programs in environmental science and boating. Campers take part in activities in nature-based surroundings and work with skilled instructors in a positive environment. Every photo on the program’s page was taken at Camp Riverview.
• Ages: 8–13 years old
• Schedule: Open June 23, 2025 – August 15, 2025
The staff of Camp Riverview strive to create an atmosphere that supports a global understanding and appreciation of the natural environment while offering a variety of educational opportunities. Camp Riverview registration is conducted in person only and is not done online, and camp spots are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Campers are immersed in the outdoors while having fun, making new friends, and building self-confidence.
Required documents must be presented at the time of registration: DC Health Universal Health Certificate, DC Health Medication and Medical Procedure Treatment Plan, Medical Authorization Form, Camper Health History, child’s birth certificate, child’s insurance card, parent’s identification with DC residency (driver’s license/ID), and a recent report card from a DC school. Incomplete registration packages will not be processed, printing and photocopying will not be available on site, and families will not be able to register without completing all of the listed documents.
