About

Revolution Field Hockey Camps offers field hockey training through winter and summer camps and clinics that include dribbling, passing, receiving, tackling, forcing, pressing, transition play, and rules instruction. Campers take part in small-sided and team-based games, daily scrimmages, and work on forehand and backhand shot variety, 2D and 3D skills to move past a defender, and goalkeeper work. Some sessions also include refereeing, evening field sessions, evening activities, dorm games, and social time for overnight campers.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Programs run over 3 or 4 days with Full Day, Half Day, Overnight, and Extended Day options; many day camps run approximately 9am–3pm or 9am–4pm, some half day options run 9am–Noon or 8:30am–Noon, and Extended Day typically runs 9am–8pm

Since 2001, the parent company eCamps Sports Network has developed over 100,000 young athletes at camps nationwide. Revolution Field Hockey Camps states a mission of helping field hockey athletes of all skill levels reach elite levels of play in tournaments, scrimmages, college, or beyond. The camps feature a highly trained, award-winning staff that includes some of the top field hockey coaches in the sport, with Camp Directors using proven teaching methods and coaching techniques and a positive camper-to-coach ratio. The program notes core values of Excellence, Fun, Improvement, Safety, and Sportsmanship, and groups campers by ability and age after an initial evaluation on the first day.

Overnight campers stay in dorm rooms, receive all-you-can-eat buffet meals, and have 6 or more hours of field hockey practice each day. Typical day and half day schedules include warm-up, individual and technical skill training, small-sided games, lunch, and afternoon tactical training and scrimmages, while overnight and extended day schedules include morning, afternoon, and evening field sessions along with meals, free time, and lights out at 10:30pm. Field hockey campers bring their own lunch for day and half day camps and may bring their own snacks for breaks at some half day only camps.

Revolution Field Hockey Camps partners with the United States Field Hockey Association (USAFHA), the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA), Harrow Field Hockey, CranBarry Field Hockey, LEAP Hockey, and SISU Mouthguards. The program notes a culture of fun, safety, and support with supervision throughout the stay, offers camp T-shirts and prizes, and states that each coach is dedicated to the personal development and improvement of every athlete from beginners to advanced players.
