About
Ann's Art Camp offers summertime classes where kids work with art, clay, tie-dye, batik, print making, and basket weaving. Children's classes include a wide range of media, with clay as a big component along with these other crafts. The program is structured so that anyone can sign up for one or several weeks, with a maximum class size of eight.
• Ages: 8–18 years old
• Schedule: Children's classes run for six separate weeks, with morning sessions Monday through Thursday
Ann Brown and Milo Rickert offer these summertime art and clay classes for kids and adults, with children's classes conducted by Milo. Ann Brown is a retired FCPS art teacher. During snack break, kids have time to play with foster puppies and spend time with goats. Clay Camp for Women!, the adult program, focuses on clay and includes a variety of hand-building techniques, and individual wheel classes can be arranged for those interested.
