Ann's Art Camp

Ann's Art Camp offers children's classes for ages 8 and above. The classes are conducted by Milo and include clay, tie-dye, batik, print making, and basket weaving. Class size is limited to 8 children, and the one-week kid's class costs $130.00, including all supplies and a mid-morning snack.

Programs

• Children's classes — ages 8 and above · Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am to noon · Conducted by Milo; cover clay and other crafts like tie-dye, batik, print making, and basket weaving. Class size is limited to 8 children.
• Clay Camp for Women! — Tuesday and Thursday evenings during Spring, Summer and Fall sessions · Adult program about clay, with hand-building techniques and individual wheel classes available.

• General schedule: Children's classes meet Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to noon. There are six separate weeks of classes; anyone can sign up for one or several weeks.

About the provider

Ann Brown, a retired FCPS art teacher, and Milo Rickert, an up and coming clay artist, lead the program. The mission statement is "Summertime creativity for kids and adults."

The cost for each 1-week kid's class is $130.00, which includes all supplies and a mid-morning snack. A deposit of $25 is required at registration, and the balance is due on the first day of camp. If fewer than 5 children register for a given week, the class may be canceled and a full refund given. Class size is limited to 8 children.
