Kid City offers age-appropriate play, small-group instruction, group activities, learning through play, guided exploration, and homework assistance. The program includes Preschool and Before and After School options, with a focus on learning through play and activities that build phonetic awareness, language, and literacy skills. In Preschool 3, phonetic awareness begins through group activities, and in Preschool 4 it is extended into math, science, and social studies, with language and literacy skills developed through one-on-one instruction and group activities.

• Schedule: Preschool 3 and 4 options with part-time morning classes on selected weekdays and full-time Monday–Friday classes from 9am–3:30pm, with optional Before and/or After Care
• Price: $50 Registration Fee for New Enrollees.
Kid City is a licensed childcare center operated by Freedom Church. The program offers Preschool and Before and After School Programs for the Rising Sun community, and Rising Sun Elementary School provides transportation to and from Kid City. The professional and dedicated team nurtures and educates preschool and school-age children according to their individual needs, and qualified staff are available to assist students in completing homework. Kid City's philosophy is to provide an environment where children feel safe and are encouraged to explore the world around them and their relationships with others, with an emphasis on learning by doing and being actively engaged with their environment. The program emphasizes social skills and self-confidence through positive relationships with peers and teachers.
