Therapeutic Recreation Camps are for ages 6–21 and are for Prince George’s County residents only, and most other camps are open to residents of all jurisdictions, with some open to Prince George’s County residents only. Day camps are co-ed unless otherwise noted, and fee assistance is available.

Participants must provide their own transportation, and campers must be signed in and out by authorized individuals. Campers must bring their own lunches, and at sites without refrigeration they must bring non-perishable lunches. Campers must participate in off-site special events and field trips, except for an optional amusement park trip if it is scheduled, and there is an additional fee for amusement park trips if scheduled. Closed-toe shoes are required and sandals are not permitted, and participants are instructed to leave personal belongings such as iPods at home. Maryland state law requires that each camper have a complete set of forms at each campsite where the camper is registered, and a complete set of forms must be submitted to each program location before June 1. Children may not attend any session without turning in these forms and completing the required Summer Program Participant Information.
