Summer Playground

Reisterstown Recreation Council Youth Sports & Activities is part of the Reisterstown Recreation Council, which offers a range of programming for young and old alike. Each program within Reisterstown Recreation Council Youth Sports & Activities is approved by the Council’s volunteer Executive Board and operates under the rules of the Recreation Council, Baltimore County, and other connected groups. Most programs rely on volunteers in roles from the heads of programs down to other positions to operate successfully.

The Reisterstown Recreation Council is run by a volunteer Executive Board. All programs in Reisterstown Recreation Council Youth Sports & Activities must be self-sufficient while following the rules of the Recreation Council, Baltimore County, and other groups connected to their operations. All volunteers, including head coaches, assistant coaches, and team managers, must complete registration and a background check. The Council works through the Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks to gain access to public facilities for the benefit of the community. Hannah More is available to be rented out through permit software CivicRec.
