Historic St. Mary’s City Youth Programs

Historic St. Mary’s City Youth Programs includes Summer Adventure Day Workshops: Waterfront Wonders for children ages 7-12. It also offers The Artist’s Tool Box of the 17th century, Experimental Archaeology, Historic St. Mary’s City Youth Interpreter Apprentice, and Scout Opportunities. The Scout Opportunities program includes discussions, instruction, and hands-on activities, and service projects may include trail maintenance, woodworking, or assisting with events.

Programs

• Summer Adventure Day Workshops: Waterfront Wonders — Designed for children ages 7-12 · $25 · Space is limited, so registration is required. Payment in full is due at time of registration. $15 Friends members.
• The Artist’s Tool Box of the 17th century
• Experimental Archaeology
• Historic St. Mary’s City Youth Interpreter Apprentice — students · two days per week, three to four hours each day, for the summer program
• Scout Opportunities — scouts · BSA and Girl Scouts can fulfill badge requirements through discussions, instruction, and hands-on activities. Service projects may include trail maintenance, woodworking, or assisting with events.
