Carroll County Arts Council Classes and Camps offers art classes and summer camps. The program takes place at a center that includes two spacious galleries, a 263-seat theatre, a stage, and a lobby Gift Shop with unique gifts and fine crafts from local artists. The center also hosts films, performances by regional musicians and performers, a children’s theatre troupe, and special events such as the annual PEEPshow, Art in the Park, and Festival of Wreaths.

Since 1969, the Carroll County Arts Council has worked to enrich the community both culturally and economically by presenting, promoting, and supporting a wide variety of arts opportunities for residents, visitors, and artists. The Arts Council also awards grants to local non-profit arts organizations, scholarships, a musical instrument bank, and Arts in Education grants that fund performances and residencies by Maryland artists in public schools.
