Gateway Learning Center is a licensed early education program that includes STEM activities, science activities, and sensory activities. Children take part in small and large group experiences, center play, art experiences, manipulative activities, dramatic activities, and children’s literature.
• Ages: 0–5 years old
• Schedule: Hours of operation are 6:30AM–5:30PM
Gateway Learning Center is owned and operated by Experience Gateway to serve childcare needs in the community. The program is faith-based and states a mission to provide quality care and early educational experiences in a safe and nurturing environment while instilling biblical values. The infants class is called The Deer, the 2s class is called The Bunnies, the 3s class is called The Foxes, and the PreK class is called The Bears. The Pre-K class is described as designed to build a solid foundation for successful entry into Kindergarten, with a focus on school readiness skills including literacy, letter sounds, letter formation, numbers, shapes, and counting, and it uses STEM activities. The 3s class includes one-on-one teaching time opportunities daily. The leadership team includes Renae Herman as Gateway Learning Center Director and Misty Brittingham as learning center director and contact for employment opportunities.
