Environmental Education Programs include activities such as a photo contest, field trips, volunteering, gardening, a bird count, a Tu BiShvat celebration, owl observations, and a Corvid Conundrum program. The programs also include a Great Backyard Bird Count ~ Birds & Beverages event and a 2026 photo contest for photos taken on the Conservancy’s 232 acres during 2025. The Conservancy’s Mt. Pleasant grounds include 232 acres with 5 miles of trails that are free and open sunrise to sunset daily.

The mission of Environmental Education Programs is stated as “Education. Preservation. Stewardship.” More than 40,000 people connect to nature each year through the Conservancy’s environmental education programs for schools, families, children, and adults. Leadership recognition includes a Volunteer Spotlight on Ann Hackeling, the retired coordinator of the Miller Library's Enchanted Garden.
