Legacy Center Basketball Programs include Club Basketball, recreation basketball programming, individual and small-group basketball training, Little Legends, Legacy Travel Teams, the Beginner Skill Builder Program, and House teams. Little Legends and the Beginner Skill Builder Program are clinic-based and do not include games, while House teams, Club Basketball, and Legacy Travel Teams provide team-play options with varying levels of competition and season length.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Little Legends runs in 8–10 week sessions offered year-round with one 50-minute class per week; Travel Teams run in 3–4 month seasons with two 90-minute practices per week; the Beginner Skill Builder Program runs in 8-week sessions offered seasonally with one 60-minute class per week; House teams meet for one practice per week.
Legacy’s Club Basketball offers home and travel team-play options year-round for athletes with varying competitive profiles. Recreation basketball programming focuses on gross-motor development and introduces fundamental skills and rules of the game in a non-competitive environment. Individual and small-group basketball training sessions are for competitive athletes who play travel or high school basketball. Little Legends is described as Legacy's cornerstone program and focuses on building a healthy attitude towards sports, motor coordination, and social skills for athletes, and is clinic-based with no games. Legacy Travel Teams are the most competitive level of team play, are tryout-based, and 7th and 8th-grade Travel Teams will participate in the 3Stripes Select Basketball (3SSB) circuit. High school Travel Teams will participate in the Preps Hoops Circuit in spring/summer 2026. House teams are described as short season and budget-friendly, offer a team-play option for families who prefer a shortened season, and play Legacy tournaments or local tournaments with 4–5 tournaments (12–15 games).
Legacy Center Basketball Programs are part of Legacy Center’s Sports & Activities, which provide a space featuring athletic facilities for all ages to participate in fitness, club sports, youth leagues, and recreational programs that promote health and teamwork. Legacy Center offers a virtual tour presented by VTS, and games can be watched remotely with the option to watch from wherever a viewer is. The leadership team includes Tyrone Hicks (Director of Basketball), Dan Nealy (Program Admin), Marv Fox (Director of Player Development & Club Basketball), Rockey Black (Tournament Director), and Keion Arkwright (Director of Camps & Clinics). Legacy Center is a proud Adidas facility. The Legacy Center mission states that it offers world-class facilities and professional grade training and aims to create better Athletes, Players, and People by providing platforms that enhance and supplement every individual that walks through its doors.
