Borgo Sisters School of Dance

Borgo Sisters School of Dance offers combination classes that include ballet, jazz, and basic gymnastics. It also offers ballet, tap, modern, hip-hop, lyrical, adult classes, a 2.5 year old workshop, and performances. Combination classes are once per week for 45 minutes, and ballet classes are once per week for 45 minutes.

• Combination Classes — Ages 3+ (must be 3 by September 1) · Once per week, 45 minutes · Includes ballet, jazz, and basic gymnastics. Dancers must be fully potty trained!
• Ballet Classes — Ages 8+ · Once per week, 45 minutes · At age twelve or older, with approximately three years of ballet training, dancers may be considered for pointe shoes.

About the provider

Borgo Sisters School of Dance is celebrating over 90 years of dance education. Its philosophy emphasizes a non-competitive environment, and its choreography, classroom formats, and music are planned using proven childhood development principles. The studio also states that consideration is given to age-appropriate costuming, subject content and language, and dance moves. At the end of each season, each student is recognized individually and presented with an attendance award and certificate.

Enrollment closes on October 1 for the 2026-27 season. Fall Semester begins September 14. The studio personally enrolls each student. The program teaches students how to graciously accept awards and accolades as well as how to be a polite audience.
