Hartland’s Caroselli Aquatic Center Swim Lessons

Hartland’s Caroselli Aquatic Center Swim Lessons offers Parent and Tot Infant to 3, Parent and Tot 1, Parent and Tot 2, Pre B 3's, Pre-Beginner, Beginner 1, Beginner 2, Beginner 3, Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2, Advanced, and Tween. The lessons include floating, blowing bubbles, kicking, jumping, submerging, front and back floating, front crawl, freestyle, backstroke, rotary breathing, breaststroke, butterfly stroke kicks, flip turns, open turns, seated and kneeling dives, and standing dives from the side edge into deep water.

Programs

• Parent and Tot Infant to 3 — 6 months to 35 months · Provides an introduction to the aquatic environment with aquatic safety and comfort in the water using songs and games. Skills covered are floating, blowing bubbles, kicking, jumping and submerging.
• Parent and Tot 1 — 6 months to 24 months · Provides an introduction to the aquatic environment with aquatic safety and comfort in the water using songs and games. Skills covered are floating, blowing bubbles, kicking, jumping and submerging.
• Parent and Tot 2 — 1 1/2 years to 3 years old · Provides an introduction to the aquatic environment with aquatic safety and comfort in the water using songs and games. Skills covered are floating, blowing bubbles, kicking, jumping and submerging.
• Pre B 3's — 3 to 4 years · A parent & tot participation class focusing on aquatic safety pre beginner skills in a fun and safe instructor led environment. Focuses on floating, kicking and submerging faces with blowing bubbles.
• Pre-Beginner — 4 years or older
• Beginner 1 — 5 years or older · Focuses on safety skills in the water, independent front and back floating, and introduction to front crawl with proper arm reach and pull action and kicking.
• Beginner 2 — 5 years or older · Focuses on swimming safety skills and learning to move through the water independently. Includes freestyle and backstroke development, rotary breathing, front push off and back push off.
• Beginner 3 — 6 years or older
• Intermediate 1 — 6 years or older · Continues development of freestyle and backstroke by adding more distance and a flip turn. Introduces breaststroke, seated and kneeling dives, and standing dives from the side edge into deep water.
• Intermediate 2 — 6 years or older · Focuses on refining breaststroke. Includes open turns, standing dives from the side, continued freestyle and backstroke work with flip turns, and butterfly stroke kicks.
• Advanced — 8 years or older
• Tween — Participants focus on learning water safety skills to build confidence in the water through face immersion, floating on front and back, and simultaneous arm/leg actions.

About the provider

The Parent and Tot classes require one adult, parent, or guardian to participate with the tot and be in the water. Swim diapers must be covered by another article of swim clothing. The refund policy gives a full class refund minus a $10 processing fee with 3 days’ notice before the start of the session, 50% refund up until the 2nd class, and no refunds after the start of the second class, except for a documented medical condition.

Refund Policy: Cancellation for full class refund minus $10 processing fee will require 3 days notice before start of session. Notification up until the 2nd class will receive 50% refund. No refunds after start of second class. The only exception to the above is documented medical condition. All Parent and Tot class requirements: Infant/Tots must be in the age range for the particular class. Due to spacing, only one adult/parent/guardian is allowed to participate with tot and must be in the water for this class. Swim diapers must be covered by another article of swim clothing.
