Outdoor Education and Recreation Programs

Outdoor Education and Recreation Programs include outdoor education programs, recreation programs, age-progressive summer camps, adventure education programs, facility rentals, and group tours. Families can also visit the Wild Wonders Wildlife Park, see 70 Michigan native animals, play in Alexandria’s NatureScape and Tree House, and get hands-on in the Nature Zone. Visitors are instructed to stop into the Welcome Center to purchase a Nature Pass for Wild Wonders Wildlife Park.

• Ages: 3–17 years old
• Schedule: Wild Wonders Wildlife Park is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. year-round, and the Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Price: Wild Wonders Wildlife Park / Nature Pass admission: Adult (18 years & older) $9 per day; Youth (3–17 years) $7 per day; Child (2 years & under) $0 per day; senior (65+) and military discount of $2 off admission.

Here at Howell Nature Center, the stated mission is that through mutual love and respect, the organization teaches people to be faithful caretakers of one another and the world around them. The programs and facilities are also involved with Livingston County Environmental Coalition events.
