Air Zoo Camps and Educational Programs

Air Zoo Camps and Educational Programs offers STEAM Days and on-site education programs for Pre-K through kindergarten. Children can take part in Fantastic Flying, Ocean Kids, Weather Explorers, Astronauts, and High Flying Fun, with activities that include studying birds, experimenting with kites, gliders, and planes, making take-home flying machines, using realistic puppets and ocean-themed music, creating wind-direction tools, and designing space gear to take home. Several of the on-site programs are listed at $5.

• On Site Education Programs: Pre-K Ocean Kids — Pre-K · $5 · Students dive into the ocean using realistic puppets, ocean-themed music, and dramatic play. Young oceanographers take home their own octopus puppet.

The Air Zoo was founded in 1977. Its mission is to ignite curiosity, celebrate innovation, and connect history and science through past, present, and future dreams of flight. The Air Zoo states that it offers free and low-cost education programs, hands-on activities, scholarships, daily admission, and annual memberships.

• Community Access Memberships — In addition to reduced daily admission, qualifying families can enjoy no-cost annual memberships.

• Flight Discovery Center — Join for Open Houses and Fly-Ins this summer.

The Air Zoo is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Scholarship opportunities are available for schools or organizations. Starlab™ has a maximum capacity of 25 individuals.
