DanceBARN Youth Camp is a 5-day sleep-away camp that includes dance technique, choreography, and traditional camp activities. Campers take part in campfires, spend time at the lake, and have time for making new friends.

DanceBARN Youth Camp is part of DanceBARN Collective, a 501c3 nonprofit organization committed to creating dance opportunities to rural communities. The organization states that it strives to build community, aspire to create challenging and innovative dance, reinvent dance as collaborative community art, and nurture creative minds and bodies. DanceBARN Collective also offers an annual DanceBARN Festival, community-based choreographic residencies, speaking and community workshops, and community classes and choreography, and invites communities to collaborate and add dance to their community.

The leadership team includes Co-Directors Molly Johnston and Ayumi Hori-Shafer, Board Chairwoman Mary Pettit, Vice Chairwoman Michele Anderson, Treasurer Reba Gilliand, Secretary Julia Everts-Demars, and Board member Nicole Reinan, with a Board of Directors noted for 2017–2019. Molly Johnston is a dancer, teacher, choreographer, screendancer, and co-founder of DanceBARN Collective who earned a BFA from the University of the Arts and an MFA from the University of Oregon, and worked as Zenon Dance Company and School's school coordinator. Ayumi Hori-Shafer is an educator, choreographer, dancer, and co-founder of DanceBARN Collective who earned an MFA in Dance at the University of Oregon and a BA in Dance from San Francisco State University, and has over 10 years of experience teaching in studios and schools.
