Becker Youth Football offers both flag football and tackle football for kids. The program focuses on teaching the fundamentals of the sport through these two formats.

Becker Youth Football is a program for kids in Kindergarten through 6th grade. The program’s stated mission is to create a fun, safe, and supportive environment for all players, with a goal of building strong fundamentals, encouraging teamwork, and supporting growth on and off the field. It emphasizes sportsmanship, team spirit, and developing skills more than winning, and it states a commitment to having fun while learning and being treated with dignity.
The program expects coaches and parents to use appropriate language and states that profanity will not be tolerated. Becker Youth Football participates in the North Star Youth Football League, which includes numerous organizations in the Northern Metro area. The leadership team includes Jen Johnson, Director for Community Education & Related Services, and Vern Johnson, Youth Football President.
