Big Lake Schools Community Education Youth Recreation Programs offers activities such as Teens & Banking, Big Lake Girls Wrestling, Volleyball Skills, DASH Floor Hockey Little Tykes, Hornet Baseball Clinic, High School Girls Flag Football, NASP Archery Club Tournaments, t-ball, basketball, Red Cross-inspired swim classes, gymnastics, Drivers Education, painting, planning for retirement, and growing a garden. The gymnastics program ranges from parent/child toddler classes to high school competitive ones, and aquatics includes more than 10 levels of Red Cross-inspired swim classes. Youth courses are offered for children and teens, and adult courses are offered for those 18 and older.

• Schedule: Big Lake Girls Wrestling holds weekly practices on Sundays from 6:00–7:30 pm during its season, and the Hornet Baseball Clinic for grades 3–6 runs Tuesday–Thursday, March 24–26, from 6:30–8:00 pm; NASP State Tournament dates are March 27–28.
• Price: Hornet Baseball Clinic $40; Mn Region 3 3D Tourney $21; Mn Region 3 Bullseye Tourney $21; Mn NASP State Tourney 3D or Bullseye $31; Hornet Fitness Center 2025–26 monthly membership registration fee $15 with various monthly rates by age and residency; additional listed program prices include $120.00 and $60.00.
Big Lake Community Education states that it is dedicated to building a strong community by offering life-long learning experiences through cultural, educational and recreational opportunities. High School Girls Flag Football for girls in grades 9–12 in Big Lake is returning in collaboration with the Minnesota Vikings. NASP Archery Club Tournaments are only for Big Lake Archers enrolled in Archery Club, and information for these tournaments is subject to change with shooting slot times communicated directly by coaches. Hornet Fitness Center memberships are available from family to individual for ages 14 and older, are accessible via fob entry, and the facility is staffed during limited hours each week.
