Byron Youth Football Association offers tackle football for kids. The program includes an equipment fitting where players can get help with the gear they need for the season. Players are asked to bring their jersey from last year to the equipment fitting to make sure it fits with all gear on.
• Ages: 9–12 years old
• Schedule: Equipment fitting on May 12 and 13 from 5:30–7 p.m.
• Price: Any gear purchased on May 12 or 13 at equipment fitting will be an extra 10% off.
Gear needed each season for tackle football includes a helmet, padded pants, shoulder pads, mouth guard, and jersey. Most players can keep jerseys between seasons to reuse, and there is an additional charge to order a new jersey if the previous one is lost or a new one is needed. Partner SportsHeadquarters will be available at the equipment fitting to help families get needed gear.
