The Caledonia Summer Baseball and Softball Program offers organized baseball and softball activities for children. The program is part of the Caledonia Parks and Recreation Summer Baseball and Softball Program and is organized for City of Caledonia youth.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00AM–4:30PM
The stated mission of the Caledonia Summer Baseball and Softball Program is to provide a positive and instructional baseball and softball league for children where the focus is on participation, fundamentals, and enjoyment of the game. The program focuses on teaching the fundamentals of baseball and softball, developing self-confidence, and developing respect for others, teamwork, and pride in team and community. It incorporates the spirit of good sportsmanship in victory and defeat and allows every player the opportunity to participate and develop. The program states that it plays in a safe and healthy environment, builds character and sets priorities in participants’ lives, and allows everyone to have fun and enjoy life. It also promotes physical fitness, stamina, and agility. A Coach-Parent-Player Code of Conduct is required by registration, and violation of the Code of Conduct may result in dismissal from the Caledonia Summer Baseball and Softball Program without a refund of the registration fee.
