Canby Junior Basketball offers youth basketball programs for players in grades 1 through 8. The program also runs the 2025-26 Canby Junior Basketball Cougar Classic Tournament. Registration for the 2025/2026 season has closed, and the team store is open for families to purchase Cougar gear.
• Ages: 6–13 years old
Payment in full or selection of a payment plan is expected at the time of registration, and the payment plan requires a credit or debit card. An initial small payment is charged at registration, and the remaining payments are auto-charged either 2 or 4 times based on the payment terms selected on the 1st of each month. All payments are due no later than December 15th, unless on an approved payment plan, and participation is not allowed until the account is paid in full. All outstanding fees from the previous season must be paid before registration, and current year registrations cannot be accepted until past due balances are paid. Limited scholarships are available in trade for volunteer hours with Canby Junior Basketball if a parent or guardian cannot pay fees at the time of registration, and scholarships must be requested by 9/17/2025.
Applying to serve as a coach or volunteer with Canby Junior Basketball requires a background check. Background checks are valid for two years, and Canby Junior Basketball reserves the right to request an updated background check annually if necessary. The organization states that it prides itself on creating a supportive environment to foster the growth and development of basketball skills for youth in the community. The program’s website is powered by SportsEngine's Sports Relationship Management (SRM) software and is owned by and subject to the Canby Junior Basketball privacy policy.
