The Community Day Program is a 9 week long program for children entering 1st through 7th grade. The program sometimes includes field trips to fun filled places. Lunch and snack are both included with the required donation, and children who need a special diet or do not like the provided food must bring a prepared, ready-to-eat lunch, as no reheating is available.
• Ages: 6–12 years old
• Schedule: Weekdays from June 1st through July 31st, 8 am to 5 pm, with extended hours available upon request; 9 week long program
• Price: The Community Day Program registration is a one time donation of $150 for each family. Each week is a donation of $65 for the first child and $32.50 for each additional family member. Extended hours: an additional donation of $15.00 for mornings (7:30am) and $15.00 for evenings (until 5:30pm) per week.
The program requires parents or guardians to sign children in and out each day and to document who is allowed to pick up and drop off. Families are required to sign up for each week on the first day their children are dropped off. All donations are due the Friday before the week of attendance, and all donations must be up to date in order for children to attend. Families may register online or in person. Due to State Minimum wage requirements, the registration donation was raised to help cover increases. The staff at the Community Day Program is comprised of loving college and high school students that find joy in organizing the summer long program. The program’s mission states that it believes a great, fun and affordable program should be available to everyone and that the staff members love spending their summers with their extended “family.”
