Silver Sage Youth Horse Camp takes place at a family owned and operated ranch that was purchased by the Otto family in 1995, along with six horses. Each camper has lessons scheduled to suit their individual riding abilities and needs, and the program progresses in difficulty throughout, ending with a highlight fun show where campers showcase riding skills and decorations of their horse. The equestrian staff is described as experienced horse lovers who are eager to share their knowledge with campers, and Silver Sage Ranch states that it maintains a highly qualified team of professionals. The stated mission of the camp is to provide campers with a meaningful experience that leaves them with a life-time of memories. The ranch also offers mini-clinics that are described as great for Homeschooling groups, Boy & Girl Scouts, School Programs, 4H Clubs, Saddle Clubs and more, and hosts a PRCA Rodeo, with additional offerings such as a Guest House rental and seasonal RV sites. Testimonials mention memorable time at horse camp as a child, describe the ranch as beautiful with a great day at the ranch, and note an awesome afternoon of riding and a picnic.
