Rich-Spring Golf Club Junior Golf Lessons offers golf lessons that include time on the driving range and participation in a Junior Golf Tournament. Range balls are always provided for lessons, and instruction is led by PGA professionals in 30-minute sessions.

Rich-Spring Golf Club has an 18-hole championship level course and a driving range that was added by reconstructing two existing holes, numbers 1 and 18. The course was officially opened on May 12, 1962, after having its beginnings in 1960, with league play starting in 1962, the back 9 holes opening in 1982, and a new clubhouse built in 1996. The clubhouse includes a bar, restaurant, and pro shop in its historical description, and Shady’s Long Shots restaurant offers daily happy hours and signature $5 cocktails.
Much of the early work on the course was done by volunteers from Richmond, Cold Spring, and surrounding areas, including volunteers from the Richmond Fire Department who helped spray down the interior of the barn used to house golf carts. Rich-Spring continues to expand and grow through the cooperative effort of patrons, stockholders, and local communities.
One Google reviewer described Rich-Spring as a beautiful golf course in Cold Spring with great conditions, awesome staff, and top-notch food, and said they would recommend playing the course. In 2006, Rich-Spring golfer Mae Virant said that many local golfers were eager for a golf course to begin, that it brought people together, and that people pitched in and worked hard to make it a success.
