Hoops Training focuses on basketball specific skill development, including skills training, Drop In Workouts, and options such as a Shooting or Skills Camp. The program offers professional instruction on basketball fundamentals like shooting form, ball-handling, finishing, and rebounding, along with advanced offensive and defensive moves. Hoops Training also offers summer camps, spring/summer teams, a fall league, and a holiday clinic.

Hoops Training was started in the summer of 2009. The program offers private lessons and small group training, a 24 Day Home Workout, and year-round programs, including the opportunity to compete in Fall League and Spring/Summer Club Teams. Hoops Training is led by Andrew Dahl, Hoops Training Owner & Lead Trainer, who is also listed as Director and as Head Boys Varsity Basketball Coach for the Lester Prairie Bulldogs. Andrew Dahl earned All-Conference and All-Area Honors at Lakeview High School in Cottonwood, MN (Class of 2000) and went on to play at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN before a stress fracture ended his playing career.
Parents have shared feedback about the program, including Jason, who said, “Coach Andrew did a great job working with my son. My son was able to improve on some of the skills that he as struggling with. My son also enjoyed his workout sessions with Andrew. I would strongly recommend coach Andrew.” Karen said, “My high school daughter really enjoyed her 1st session with Andrew. He was engaging and gave her very specific constructive feedback that will help her improve her skills in multiple areas. We are signed up for more with Andrew and would recommend him highly.” Julie said, “Coach Andrew is fantastic!! He really knows how to connect with kids! He keeps the athlete engaged the entire time. His knowledge of basketball is vast; his techniques are very effective. We are extremely glad we found Coach Andrew!!”
