Hallett Center of Crosby Youth Programs offers access to a heated year-round 25-meter swimming pool with three lap lanes, a zero entry pool at select times, recreational and lap swimming, and a waterslide that is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12–2 for the Kids Kamp program and the public. The program includes youth swim lessons, group and private swim lessons, water aerobics and Aqua Fit classes, and the option for in-pool rehabilitation. Participants also have access to a fitness center with free weights, bench presses, cable and functional training machines, squat racks, cardio equipment such as treadmills, ellipticals, spin bikes, row and step machines, as well as group fitness classes like spin, HIIT, balance, Forever Fit, Chair Yoga, and independent yoga in the studio.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Pool hours match facility staffed hours, with winter hours from October 1 to April 30 (Monday–Friday 5am–9pm, Saturday 7am–7pm, Sunday 11am–7pm) and summer hours from May 1 to September 30 (Monday–Friday 5am–8pm, Saturday 7am–4pm, Sunday closed); the waterslide is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12–2, and group fitness and water classes are offered on set days throughout the week.
• Price: Day passes cost $7 per visit for ages 5–21 and $12 per visit for ages 22 and up; punch passes cost $31 for 5 visits for ages 5–21 and $54 for 5 visits for ages 22 and up; memberships start at $25 per month, with optional 24-hour fitness center access for an additional monthly fee.
The facility also includes a 190-degree sauna for ages 16 and up, an NHL regulation ice surface for winter hockey with open skate times, skate rentals and sharpening, and summer pickleball courts with free equipment rentals. A year-round indoor walking track is available, where nine laps equal one mile, and on the first Wednesday of every month the track is open to the general public for Walk & Talk Wednesdays. Members can bring a guest for free on the second Friday of every month through Free Friend Fridays.
The program hosts Kids Kamp, offers Walk with a Doc appointments by request, and provides a community multipurpose room that can be reserved for meetings and birthday parties, with tables and chairs, six outlets, a sink if needed, and an overhead projector with HDMI input. The waterslide can be reserved for families, with a lifeguard hourly rate of $25 for private use.
