East Grand Forks Youth Basketball offers a Summer Skills program that focuses on basketball activities. The program separates participants into girls and boys groups and organizes them by school grade levels for different time slots.
• Ages: 8–18 years old
• Schedule: Summer Skills runs June 1–July 15, Monday–Thursday, with no sessions July 3–July 10
• Price: Cost = $80
The mission of the East Grand Forks Youth Basketball Association is to help develop character and confidence as well as basketball skills for the youth of East Grand Forks while focusing on preparing young people for the future within a structured, positive, and athletically challenging environment. The organization lists Scheels and American Federal Bank as local sponsors. EGF YBA uses social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram to promote programs and participants, and images and videos of athletes may be posted to support this. Parents or guardians may opt out of having their child’s picture posted online by sending a message to the organization or any board member by December 1.
