Animal Humane Society Summer Camps include AHS Shelter Explorers, a shelter-based camp where campers learn what it takes to be an animal advocate. Animal Art Adventures is a weeklong full-day program focused on animal-themed arts and crafts, including projects that benefit animals receiving medical care in the shelter. Animal Science Adventures focuses on animals from a scientific perspective, including biology, genetics, animal rights and welfare, and animal cognition and abilities. Various programs serve youth entering grades 3–10, and campers are limited to signing up for each camp type once per summer because camp content is repeated each week. Animal Humane Society also hosts camp programs during the school year with single day school year camps. Animal Humane Society serves people and pets living in Minnesota.
