Eagle Bluff Summer Camps are part of Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center, which has been inspiring care for the earth and each other since 1978. The mission of the organization is “Empowering people to care for the earth and each other through transformative outdoor experiences.” Summer camps are led by educators who have spent the past year working with school groups through Eagle Bluff’s Outdoor Education Fellowship program, and all staff are certified in First Aid and CPR/AED. Campers have 24/7 supervision, with an on-duty staff member in the same dorm area at night, and the campus is peanut-free. Families receive a packing list about one month before camp, all meals and snacks are provided, outside food is not allowed except for medical needs, and campers are asked not to bring cell phones or electronics such as tablets, smartwatches, or gaming devices. Families can add gift shop funds through CampDoc instead of sending money.

Eagle Bluff provides nationally accredited educational programs. Eagle Bluff championed the Minnesota Outdoor School For All program in partnership with Minnesota’s accredited Outdoor Schools and bipartisan support, and this program provides funding to support multi-day outdoor learning field trips for grades 4–12. Eagle Bluff was awarded a $4,000 POET Community Impact Grant to expand its on-site composting system. The leadership team includes Cheryl Krage (Business Manager & Billing), Sheila Fishbaugher (Scheduling Manager), Sara K. Sturgis (Development Director), and Laura Ahmed (Marketing & Communications Director). Community volunteers are invited to participate in a tree planting event at Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center.
