About
Eagle Bluff Summer Camps offers day and overnight camps where campers take part in activities such as building shelters, stargazing, guided hikes, wildlife exploration, and outdoor survival skills. Campers may experience high ropes challenge courses, an indoor and outdoor archery range, shooting at the rifle range, canoeing, discovering local pond ecosystems, and rock climbing on both an indoor rock climbing wall and a 30-foot outdoor rock wall. Many camps include an overnight camp-out and at least one meal prepared around a campfire.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Registration for Summer Camps opens January 14, 2026 at 10 AM.
• Price: Individual camp rates are listed with each camp. Pre-registration is required for all summer camps, and a camper’s spot is secured with a non-refundable deposit or full payment, depending on the camp.
Eagle Bluff Summer Camps are part of Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center, whose mission is “CONNECTING PEOPLE TO NATURE AND EACH OTHER THROUGH TRANSFORMATIVE OUTDOOR EXPERIENCES.” All youth overnight campers participate in a ropes course experience, and day campers in 4th grade and up have a ropes course experience, while preschool and 1st–3rd grade day campers have a rock climbing experience instead of a ropes course. All camps include at least one meal prepared around a campfire, with other meals served in a dining hall that offers homemade, kid-friendly meals and uses local, sustainable ingredients as often as possible while making efforts to minimize food waste, and every attempt is made to meet food allergy or dietary needs on a peanut-free campus.
All staff are First Aid and CPR/AED certified, and campers are supervised at all times except when they are in their rooms at night, with an on-duty staff member sleeping in a clearly marked room in the same section of the dormitory as the campers. Eagle Bluff’s educational programs are nationally accredited. Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that operates on program fees, grants, sponsorships, and private donations, and it was awarded a $4,000 POET Community Impact Grant to expand its on-site composting system. Eagle Bluff has been inspiring care for the earth and each other since 1978 and was a champion of the Minnesota Outdoor School For All program in partnership with Minnesota’s accredited Outdoor Schools and bipartisan support.
