Since 2002, Abrakadoodle has engaged kids with creative art classes, fun themed summer art camps, holiday art camps, art parties, and special events, and has delivered visual arts classes, camps, parties, and events to more than one million children around the world. Abrakadoodle MN: Northwestern Suburbs of Minneapolis and St. Paul serves Western Minneapolis suburbs, including Edina, Eden Prairie, Golden Valley, Maple Grove, New Hope, Minnetonka, Plymouth, St. Louis Park, and Wayzata. The program offers toddler art classes called Twoosy Doodlers (ages 20 months–3), preschool art classes called Mini Doodlers (ages 3–5), and elementary school art classes called Doodlers (ages 6 and up), and also brings art onsite to kids in schools and community sites through a mobile art program. Schools across the country, including charter, public, and private schools, have contracted with Abrakadoodle to be their Academic Art Program, which uses a comprehensive, standards-based curriculum called Art In Our World, with art lesson plans that exceed national standards for visual arts education and include process art. Kids learn about classic artists such as Picasso and Rembrandt and contemporary artists such as Mort Solberg and Lisa Cherkasky, and art lessons address cognitive skills including concept development, problem solving, language, history, measurement, critical thinking, and fine motor development.

The Educational Director is Gertrud Luer. The Abrakadoodle mission is “to enhance the lives of children by creating an educationally rich learning environment that ignites their imaginations and leads them to discover their own unique creativities, talents and abilities.” Abrakadoodle has been voted “Best Art Class to Inspire Your Child's Inner Picasso,” has been listed among the top brands of 2025 by the Franchise Journal, and has been ranked as one of the Top 100 Franchises Under $50k by Entrepreneur.
