Soccer Stars

Soccer Stars offers youth soccer training, a pre-soccer music and movement program, soccer-themed birthday parties, private soccer classes, a recreational soccer league, camps and clinics, and school enrichment programming. The program uses a unique, age-specific curriculum and a specially designed age-appropriate curriculum in a fun, non-competitive, educational environment with a low child-to-coach ratio. Private classes are available as a completely personalized experience, set up as a 1-on-1 or small group session, and the Shining Stars program uses soccer to teach life skills to children with developmental challenges.

Backed by 20 years of experience, Soccer Stars describes itself as the nation’s most popular children’s soccer program for ages 1 to 12+. Its mission states that the goal is to help children improve their gross motor and soccer skills and to use the soccer ball as a vehicle to instill important life lessons, develop skills, boost confidence, and develop teamwork in every class, with a focus on safe and positive experiences on the field. Soccer Stars coaches are required to undergo extensive background checks and participate in rigorous training programs to meet the organization’s stated standards for safety, coaching quality, and child development knowledge. The program partners with early childhood centers, preschools, and elementary schools to offer in-house programming, and it describes a “Crib-to-College Player Pathway” across its programs, classes, and camps, which use positive reinforcement so each child feels supported and confident.
