Enchanted Hollow Stables Riding School (Lessons, Camps, and Trail Rides) offers riding lessons, horse camps, and trail rides that include Western riding, barrel racing, western gaming, horsemanship in the arena and out on the trails, English riding, jumping, and dressage. The program provides horsemanship lessons and classes from the ground and offers private, semi-private, and group lessons, as well as full-day camps at the farm that typically run for several days in a row. Trail rides are available for all ages and experience levels and take place on private trails and fields, using a program herd of over 20 lesson horses suited to different riding styles and levels.

Enchanted Hollow Stables Riding School uses a new online system, beginning with the 2022 season, for families to schedule and pay for riding lessons, and all new riders are required to take a Private Introductory Riding Lesson before joining a group lesson, with stated exceptions. Camps and classes often fill up six or more months in advance, and the business operates by appointment only unless a rider boards or leases a horse there. For every first lesson, families must bring a printed and signed waiver, and all students are required to wear an ASTM/SEI certified helmet, long pants, and a shoe with a hard sole and heel, with no tennis shoes, flats, slippers, or sandals allowed.
Enchanted Hollow Stables Riding School is completely family owned and operated by the Sansevere family, with Bob and Mary Sansevere as co-owners and founders of the riding school, and help from their children Samantha (Sam), Sawyer, Spencer, Shane, and Sienna. Sam (Samantha) Sansevere is the Barn Manager and Head Riding Instructor, and Sienna Sansevere serves as Instructor’s Assistant. The Sansevere family has competed nationally with miniature horses and Shetland ponies for over 16 years, and about halfway through that time they purchased and named Enchanted Hollow Stables. The program partners with trainers who have extensive experience competing in jumping and dressage.
Mary Sansevere is a lifelong horseback rider accomplished in several disciplines and was the driving force behind her family’s involvement with horses; she is also a former Mrs. Minnesota, former Minnesota Vikings cheerleader, and former director of the Minnesota Timberwolves Performance Team, and she coached the Buffalo High School cheer and dance teams. Sam Sansevere is a lifelong horseback rider with experience competing in barrel racing, western games, western pleasure, English pleasure, dressage, and hunter/jumpers, and she was crowned Miss Buffalo Rodeo 2020 and Miss Rodeo Minnesota 2021. Sienna has grown up in the saddle, focuses mostly on hunter/jumper, and also competes with her ponies in Western gaming events.
Since 2005, Bob Sansevere has won 37 National championships at AMHR Nationals and Shetland Congress, including 20 national titles in jumping classes, and between 2006 and 2009 he won three of four Adult Jumper Under National titles. In 2012, Bob became the first exhibitor to win Adult Jumper Under and Golden Age Jumper Under in the same year, and he has multiple Grand National Championships in Classic Roadster Over and Classic Roadster Under Stakes classes with different horses between 2007 and 2016. Mary has more than 30 national titles, including wins in jumping and driving classes at the 2013 AMHR Nationals and 2013 Shetland Congress, and multiple Grand National Championships and National titles in pleasure driving and roadster and park harness classes in 2010 and 2010 AMHR Nationals. Samantha has won a total of 36 National Championships and one World Championship, and she finished her Youth career with six National Championships in 2013 across AMHR Nationals and Shetland Congress.
In community involvement, Enchanted Hollow Stables partners with trainers experienced in jumping and dressage, Bob serves on the BHM School Board, Mary grew up participating in 4H, and Samantha has written a weekly column about high school sports for Fox Sports North and contributed to the Buffalo High School newspaper and yearbook.
