Camp Shamineau Kids & Youth Summer Camps

Camp Shamineau Kids & Youth Summer Camps offers activities such as zip line, climbing wall, tubing, The Blob, swimming, archery, sports, creative crafts, campfire nights, and rodeo games. Campers can also ride horses at the ranch, take part in trail riding, riding lessons, equine activities, daily trail rides, and hands-on horse care. Some programs include camping skills and a canoe trip as part of the experience.

Camp Shamineau Kids & Youth Summer Camps is part of a year round camping ministry that offers overnight camps for kids completing grades 1–12, family weekends, and kids, youth, and parent & child retreats. The mission of Camp Shamineau is to share the Gospel of Jesus with children and youth through relationships and fun camp experiences, and every camper will hear the Gospel of Jesus at Camp Shamineau. Camp Shamineau is affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America and is committed to partnering with churches by providing programs that help people understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how to live in His kingdom. Across its three locations, Camp Shamineau welcomes more than 19,000 guests each year through its year-round programs, and summer staff share the Gospel of Jesus with over 5,000 summer campers. The ministry also provides resident camps for children and families, Boundary Waters canoe trips for students completing grades 7–9 and 9–12, and an offsite horse adventure in the Pillsbury State Forest for students completing grades 10–12, with some campers traveling by bus from Camp Shamineau in Motley, MN to the Rock Ridge property in Ely, MN for certain programs.
