Peak Performance Shotokan Karate-Do

Peak Performance Shotokan Karate-Do offers pre-karate classes for ages 4 to 6, youth karate classes, and youth and adult karate classes. It also has classes at its dojo, at St. Anthony Community Center, at Creative Kids Academy, and at the YMCA.

About the provider

Peak Performance Shotokan Karate-Do is located in New Brighton, Minnesota and has been in operation since 1992. Chris Johnson, 6th Dan, is Chief Instructor, and Dan Mathieu, 4th Dan, teaches at Peak Performance. The program is an officially accredited dojo of the Shotokan Karate International Federation (SKIF), and the program and its instructors are officially licensed by SKIF. Chris Johnson achieved 6th Dan in 2014 and is certified as an instructor, judge, and referee through SKIF. Dan Mathieu received his Shodan in 2011 and his Yondan in 2024.
