New Prague Soccer Club offers Spring/Summer Recreation, Spring/Summer Traveling, and Winter Training soccer programs. Players take part in activities at a variety of indoor and outdoor facilities throughout the year.

In 2010 the club was formed with fewer than 100 players, and by 2016 it had over 530 player registrations. The club is a non-profit organization whose mission is to foster the physical, mental and emotional growth and development of youth through the sport of soccer at all levels of age and competition, to have fun playing the game of soccer, and to instill a lifelong passion for the sport in its players. New Prague Soccer Club is a member of the Minnesota Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) and the Southern Minnesota Soccer League (SMSL), with teams competing at the competitive MYSA first division and premier levels, along with the SMSL's black and blue leagues. The competitive program is supported and supplemented by a developmental Recreational Soccer Program. Volunteer coaches have access to certified training through MYSA and other governing bodies, and the club will ensure that coaches at the highest levels are qualified and properly certified to coach youth soccer. The club states that it will be a leader in player development and a model soccer club for the development of all players from recreational to premier, will provide training for all levels of coaching, and will provide leadership that promotes community involvement, organizational improvements, problem solving, performance measurement and professionalism. The club also states that it will foster and develop relationships in the community and surrounding area, partner with other area clubs and programs, and be financially sound by engaging in long-term financial planning to provide a positive soccer experience without undue burden of excessive costs to its players or their families.
