ECFE is a public school program staffed by licensed educators, with parent time led by a licensed parent educator and children in a classroom with a licensed early childhood teacher and a paraprofessional. ECFE classes are for parents and their children aged birth to 5 years old (before kindergarten) and are offered mornings, afternoons, and evenings. ECFE classes have a sliding fee scale, no one is denied participation for inability to pay, and payment plans can be arranged by calling the ECFE Office. Class selection is based on the child's age as of September 1 for enrollment in the current school year, and if a child cannot be placed in a first-choice class due to full enrollment, they are added to a waitlist and families are contacted by phone in the order registrations were received. All registrations need to be completed online, an account profile is required, and payments for semesters I and II are due at the time of registration and can be made by credit card, check, or money order.

Adventure Connection offers before and after-school, non-school day, and summer child care in District 622 elementary schools. Youth Enrichment offers activities after school, during evening hours, on Saturdays, on non-school days, and during summers.
