NMRC Programming & CAD Camps

NMRC Programming & CAD Camps offers Programming Camp: Level 1, Programming Camp: Level 2, and CAD Camp. CAD Camp includes an introduction to CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) using OnShape as the delivery platform. The camps are for students in grades 9-12 for the upcoming school year, and first time attendees are strongly encouraged to register for Level 1.

About the provider

The first annual programming camp was created in the summer of 2018, and the NMRC was founded in 2017 by teachers and robotics coaches. The camps are intended to help prepare students for programming during build season by providing time with experienced instructors prior to build season, and they also aim to help students collaborate and connect with other teams. The camp is supported by Bemidji State University, Paul Bunyan Communications, and the North Country Vocational Cooperative Center.

Camp is for NMRC students who will be in grades 9-12 for the upcoming school year. First time attendees are strongly encouraged to register for Level 1. First time attendees may enroll directly into Level 2 with their coach's/mentors endorsement. Level 1 and Level 2 are offered.
