The program also runs the All-City Tournament, where every player is guaranteed at least two matches, and hosts the SPUT Summer Carnival. Additional activities connected to the broader organization include adult lessons and leagues, the Employment PLUS (EP) program, and local high school matches.

The mission of Saint Paul Urban Tennis is that Rally Partners ensure that every young person in Saint Paul has access to tennis, mentorship, and community. The organization provides 80+ seasonal and part-time jobs each year for youth coaches and Employment PLUS students, invests over $200,000 back into the community through employment, scholarships, and financial assistance, and serves over 2,000 youth annually through tennis lessons, academic summer camps, and community outreach programs. The SPUT Store operates as part of the Employment PLUS program, where students create products, set prices, handle marketing, and track profits, and proceeds from the store fund other Employment PLUS initiatives.

Parent and participant feedback includes comments from a SPUT parent who says the coaches are “wonderful mentors” and that the connections their kids have made with coaches are “amazing.” Another parent reports that their family returns year after year because Saint Paul Urban Tennis works with all Saint Paul youth, has accessible and affordable programming, and offers a curriculum that includes strength, fortitude, integrity, and fun. Coaches and alumni describe SPUT as an important experience, with one coach sharing that working for SPUT was a great opportunity to grow as an individual, and an alumnus stating that they would not be where they are today without Saint Paul Urban Tennis.
