About
The Vital Volleyball Sand Program includes sand volleyball practices that focus on the sand game and end with scrimmaging at each practice. Participants are divided at the first practice into three groups, with one group per court of about 10–15 players. The program offers practice sessions only, and any tournaments are arranged by participants on their own.
• Ages: 11–18 years old for girls; boys up to age 14 (8th grade)
• Schedule: June 23–August 6 (6 weeks, off the week of July 4), Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9–11am, for a total of 12 practices
• Price: $500 total for the Standard Full Session, paid in full at registration
The program has a maximum of 50 participants in the Standard Full Session. Each participant receives one practice shirt, one sports bra, sand socks, and a Vital beach towel. Vital staff decide on weather-related cancellations at least one hour before practice start time, with communication sent by email and social media, and possible causes for cancellation include lightning in the area, heavy rain or hail, and wind of about 30 mph or more. The refund policy offers a 100% refund if a player decides not to play and notifies before May 15, a 50% refund if notification is between May 16 and June 5, and no refund for notifications on June 5 or later.
The Vital Volleyball Sand Program is part of Vital Volleyball Club, whose mission is to provide a high level of training that will empower athletes to the next level and to provide the highest level of training through a volleyball-rich environment with an experienced coaching staff where developing players’ skills comes first. The leadership team includes Ryan Stuntz (Owner/Director), Cole Nelson (Travel Coordinator), Kelly Stuntz (College Recruiting Director), and Coral Hangge (Social Media & Marketing Coordinator). Community connections listed for the club include Nike as an official sponsor, JVA Members Club, North Country Region Volleyball, Fortis Academy, and Champions Hall.
