SAP Kids After School Care offers theater, music, and animation activities as part of its daily programming. The program keeps play at the center of everything and includes all enrichment experiences such as theater, music, and animation in the tuition.
• Ages: 5–11 years old
• Schedule: After school care from 2 p.m.–5:30 p.m., following the SPPS calendar for breaks and closures
• Price: Tuition is annual and prorated across nine months of the school year: 5 days per week: $6300 annually or $700 per month; 3 days per week: $5400 annually or $600 per month; Annual non-refundable supply and application fee: $200
SAP Kids After School Care is a nurturing and small-scale afterschool program with small group sizes, low teacher-to-child ratios, and experienced group leaders. The program offers plenty of outdoor play opportunities and self-directed, playful activities. It is a non-religious, non-proselytizing program rooted in principles of care for self, community, and earth, and it specializes in social-emotional learning and relational caregiving. The program is licensed by the state of Minnesota and follows the SPPS schedule, with a patrol escort from SAP Elementary. Optional programming is available for a fee on some non-school days on a first come, first served basis.
