Great Northern Gymnastics offers men’s gymnastics training, women’s gymnastics training, recreational gymnastics classes, and Preschool gymnastics. The program takes place in a gym that includes at least two full sets of all men’s and women’s Olympic events, in-ground resi pits, a tumble trak, three full-sized trampolines, and a loose foam-pit unveiled in 2010 for advanced skill training. The facility also includes a Preschool gymnastics room for 18 month to 4 year old students.

Great Northern Gymnastics was founded in St. Paul Park, MN in 2003 by Dave Garske and Ron Hill. It was started with the goal of providing high-quality gymnastics training to boys and girls in the Cottage Grove area and surrounding communities. The program’s stated mission is to teach gymnastics with the understanding that each child is an individual with unique strengths and abilities, to provide the opportunity for each child to develop to their own potential in a safe and fun environment, and to foster self-confidence, mutual respect, and sportsmanship as life skills for the future.
