GREAT Theatre Summer Camps offer theatre-based summer camp sessions that use age-appropriate curriculum and themes. Camps are structured to meet the needs of each individual participant, including those who have performed before and those stepping on stage for the first time. Offerings include a renewed focus on process and skill development, additional intensive opportunities, and a mix of new stories as well as past favorites.
• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Camps are announced online starting February 17, with early access to registration for GREAT Season Subscribers and Donors on February 24, and registration open to all on February 25.
• Price: To reduce the barrier of cost, the program offers a “pick-your price” registration option for summer camp with no minimum or proof of need.
GREAT Theatre Summer Camps are open to youth ages 4 through grade 12. Camps are offered at over a dozen schools and theatre spaces within a 30 mile radius of St. Cloud throughout the summer. Over $42,000 was awarded in scholarships to 213 campers in 2025. The program states that together, participants and the organization are building a GREATer Future as they focus on theatre arts opportunities for youth today that will have a lasting impact for years to come.
