Coerver Coaching Minnesota Summer Soccer Camps includes a quick skills test, fun games to warm up, and ball mastery exercises such as juggling, fast footwork, speed, dribbling, and change of direction skill moves. Camp activities also include a “move of the day” to beat opposing players, 1v1, 2v2, and small group competitions and activities, as well as passing, receiving, shooting, crossing, and a small sided World Cup tournament.

• Schedule: Half Day and Full Day camps are typically Monday–Friday, with Full Day camps typically from 9:30am–3:00pm, Half Day camps typically from 9:30am–12:00pm, and additional 4 Day Half Day camps offered

These camps are for boys and girls U7–U16 with birth years 2018–2009, and groups are typically 12 players per coach. Camps focus on teaching individual skills, including proper fundamental and advanced skills, with an emphasis on individual skill development and basic moves, and first touch is a major theme in ball mastery sessions. Beginning “move sets” are taught and practiced in games that start with no pressure, then add time and space restrictions, with passive defensive pressure added and, by the end of the first morning, players performing moves under full defensive pressure to goal. All groups play in a World Cup competition of small-sided games with results recorded each day, a finals competition on the final day, and group champions recognized at a camp-ending award ceremony.
